BIO
Born in 1988 in the USSR, she currently lives and works in Milan, Italy. From an early age, she studied art and later received a degree in environmental design from a university in Russia. In 2013, she moved to Italy, where she earned a Master’s degree in Interior Design from Istituto Europeo di Design (Milan).
For over a decade, she worked in the field of lighting design while developing her own artistic practice. Her professional experience has had a strong influence on her work, shaping a particular sensitivity to space, light, and the everyday objects that surround us.
In my artistic practice, I try to imagine what happens to reality when I’m not looking at it — to feel its breath before it is captured by attention, meaning, or form. I’m drawn to the moments in between — before awareness, before order, before interpretation. It’s a constant tension between the urge to give shape to the world and the desire to preserve its fluidity. I seek this contact with the vast through the personal and the everyday — to connect the inner with the outer, the individual with the universal, the familiar with the infinite.
